Welcome to ENACTRI.org The main focus of ENACT is to keep information flowing to the property owners in the Bay Street area neighborhood of Tiverton. The residents of the Bay street neighborhood have been united in a battle to clean up the contamination that has been discovered in their properties. Tests have shown that dozens of families in the Bay Street neighborhood are living on contaminated soil. These tests have found known, probable and possible carcinogens, including arsenic, cyanide and lead. ENACT holds weekly meetings, which are open to the public. We have also helped organize public meetings with state and local officials and environmental experts to answer any and all questions from property owners and residents. We are committed to collecting historical and recent information about this neighborhood with the goal of informing property owners and residents so that they may make knowledgeable decisions regarding their property.
